VGCal tracks which games users visit or track to compute popularity metrics. All such information is anonymized and cannot be linked to individual users.

VGCal may use cookies or local storage strictly for session persistence and authentication functionality. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

2. How Information is Used

We use Clerk solely to provide secure authentication and account management.

VGCal uses anonymized data about game visits and tracking to compute and display popularity metrics, which may be published or shared in aggregated form.

VGCal does not use your personal data for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Authentication is powered by Clerk. Clerk may collect and store certain information as part of their service. Please review Clerk's Privacy Policy and Clerk's Terms of Service for details on their practices.

Game data, including names, descriptions, trailers, and release dates, is provided by IGDB and Twitch, its parent company. Please review Twitch Terms of Service and IGDB Content Policy for their data practices.

When using Google, Twitch, or Discord to authenticate, their respective privacy policies apply to the data they handle.

4. Data Retention

VGCal does not store personal information beyond what Clerk manages for authentication.

Anonymized game popularity data is retained as necessary for Service functionality.

Any personal data retained is subject to Clerk's retention policies.

5. Data Sharing

VGCal does not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties, except as required by law.

Aggregated and anonymized popularity data may be published or shared publicly.

6. Security

Authentication security is managed by Clerk. VGCal relies on Clerk's infrastructure for account protection.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.
